The Jeep Gladiator, originally introduced in 1963, was Jeep’s first and only pickup truck. In 2020, the Gladiator rejoined the lineup in the same fashion. Sharing much of its DNA with the iconic Wrangler, the Gladiator features the Wrangler’s open-air freedom and off-road prowess while simultaneously offering the utility that only a pickup truck can provide. The 2024 model year marks a mid-cycle refresh for the Gladiator, adding more features than ever before, making it the best version yet! Here at Pinckney Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, we want you to get a sense of all that the 2024 Gladiator lineup has to offer. Please continue reading below to discover the four well-equipped trim levels of the 2024 Jeep Gladiator!

Sport – Anything But Entry-Level

At the start of the Gladiator lineup is the Sport trim, offering 285 horsepower from 3.6L V6 powering the legendary Command-Trac part-time 4×4 system with either a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic transmission. While the Sport is the entry-level trim, its features compete better with the mid-level trims of other trucks. The exterior features a new premium folding soft-top, 17-inch steel wheels, 32-inch all-season tires, a fold-down front windshield, removable doors, and more. Meanwhile, the interior keeps you comfortable and connected with a 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen, eight speakers, premium cloth upholstery, push-button start, and wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay. From Main Street to the rugged trails, the Gladiator Sport is whatever you need it to be!

Mud, Rocks, Snow, Willys is Ready to Go!

Willys is the name of the auto manufacturer that developed the Jeep MB, the model made exclusively for the U.S. Army during World War II for reliable transportation of troops and weapons. Jeep honors the name with the rugged Willys trim. The Willys trim stands out with an exclusive ‘Willys’ decal on the sides of the hood in a military stencil font, while a ‘4-Wheel Drive’ decal adorns the tailgate. Other exterior upgrades include 32-inch mud-terrain tires, a limited-slip rear differential, 18-inch Gloss Black alloy wheels, cab rock rails, off-road shock absorbers, LED lighting, remote proximity keyless entry, and a Gloss Black grille. Meanwhile, the cabin features a 7-inch digital driving information display, dual-zone automatic climate control, all-weather slush mats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

For Even More Off-Road Chops…

Named after one of the most challenging off-road trails in North America: California’s Rubicon Trail, the Gladiator Rubicon is meticulously designed to handle some of the toughest terrains imaginable. To earn its Trail Rated badge, in fact, the Gladiator Rubicon traversed the Rubicon Trail with its standard equipment. Its superior capability begins with Rock-Trac 4×4, which features a 4:1 low-range gear ratio, is designed to provide more torque at lower speeds, maintaining control on steep, jagged terrain. Aiding in the off-road capability are other features like Fox shock absorbers, 33-inch all-terrain tires, high-clearance fender flares, electronic sway bar disconnect, tow hooks, and more. For 2024, the Rubicon X adds a winch-capable steel front bumper, a forward-facing off-roading camera, a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, 12-way power-adjustable front seats, Alpine premium audio, and a wireless speaker.

What Makes the Gladiator Mojave ‘Desert Rated’?

The 2024 Gladiator trim level is rounded out by the Mojave trim, which removes the Gladiator’s standard Trail Rated badge found on all aforementioned trim levels, replacing it with a Desert Rated badge. The Mojave is designed for tearing up wide open sand and gravel spaces, while the Rubicon is designed for low-speed crawling over rugged terrain. The Mojave features a one-inch front suspension lift from the factory, 2.5-inch internal bypass shock absorbers from Fox with hydraulic jounce adapters, 33-inch all-terrain tires, a locking rear differential, a function, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Like the Rubicon, the Mojave is available in a Mojave X variant, adding the same enhancements as the Rubicon X.
