Tracking Your Factory Order | Pinckney Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

Once your order is placed, you can follow your vehicle through every stage of the build and delivery process.

You will never be left wondering where things stand. Your Sales Consultant is always available to give you an update or answer questions, and you can also track your vehicle directly using the manufacturer’s online tools. To do so, you will need your VON (Vehicle Order Number), which can be found in your ordering paperwork, along with the last name or business name the order was submitted under.

Track Your Order Online

Each brand has its own tracking page:

www.ramtrucks.com/trackyourorder.html#/landing

www.jeep.com/trackyourorder.html#/landing

www.dodge.com/trackyourorder.html#/landing

www.chrysler.com/trackyourorder.html#/landing

Note: The tracking tool will show you the current stage of your vehicle, but it is not always a reliable indicator of how long each stage will take. Your Sales Consultant can provide better context on timing.

Understanding Your Order Status Codes

Below is a full index of the status codes you may see while tracking your vehicle and what each one means.

C — Tentative schedule. Your order is considered subfirm. The plant can see the order but has not yet fully committed to the build specifications based on parts availability or compatibility.

D — Your order is firm and a VIN number has been assigned to your vehicle. It is not uncommon for a vehicle to remain in this phase for some time. Once it moves out of this stage, the build process tends to move quickly.

D1 — Your vehicle has been sequenced for production and an estimated ship date has been assigned.

E — Framing.

F — Paint.

G — Trim.

I — Your vehicle has been built and is pending final inspection.

JB — Your vehicle has been shipped to a body vendor for inclusion of exterior components such as bedliners, steps, or other add-ons.

JS — Your vehicle has been released to the logistics team and is in storage awaiting transport.

KZ — Released to plant and invoiced. Your vehicle is ready to begin the transport process.

KZM — Your vehicle is on its first rail departure.

KZS / KZT — Your vehicle is on its second rail departure and heading toward its final rail destination.

KZX — Your vehicle has been delivered to Pinckney CDJR and is awaiting the pre-delivery inspection process.
