Here is everything you need to know about the financial side of your factory order.
You will begin the financial process with your Sales Consultant at the very start of your order and connect with your F&I Manager once your vehicle arrives. Here is a breakdown of each component.
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of $2,500 is required to place your factory order. Payment is accepted by wire transfer or ACH only. Your deposit is not a fee — it is applied directly toward your total purchase and deducted from your final bill. The deposit exists to ensure that every order we place is committed on both sides. It holds your price, your build specifications, and your place in the process.
Title & Tax
Your Pinckney CDJR price quote will include the sale price of the vehicle, our $280 documentation fee, and our $34 electronic filing fee. Your home state’s taxes, title fees, and any other applicable local charges will not be quoted until your vehicle arrives. This keeps your price comparison clean and also protects your agreed sale price in the event that your state adjusts its rates or fees between the time your order is placed and when your vehicle arrives.
For vehicles being titled and registered outside of Michigan, we engage a third-party titling service to handle the transaction. The service and processing cost is passed along to the customer, in addition to all applicable taxes and fees owed to your state, county, and municipality.
We handle transactions in all fifty states. We do not sell outside of the United States and do not sell to known exporters or parties that do not pass applicable compliance checks.
Trade-In
If you have a vehicle to trade, we can appraise it remotely. The appraisal takes place at the time the transaction occurs, not at the time the order is placed. Your Sales Manager will provide you with a current trade value during that process so you can make an informed decision. Shipping costs of trade-ins are the responsibility of the customer.
Financing
You are welcome to bring your own financing or go through us. We work with a number of lenders that offer competitive rates and efficient processing, including captive finance options through Stellantis. There is no requirement to finance through our preferred lenders and no pressure to take on products you do not want. Your F&I Manager will walk you through all available options when your vehicle arrives.
