The Jeep Gladiator’s bed offers both ample space and hefty capacities. The Gladiator features coil front and rear suspensions, heavy-duty Dana axles, and a high-strength steel frame that work together to provide impressive utility from the bed. Plus, its size offers plenty of space for your cargo. From the cab to the closed tailgate is 60.3 inches. Meanwhile, at the wheel wells, it offers 44.8 inches of width, while the total width is 56.8 inches. This allows ample space for camping gear, off-roading equipment, and even dirt bikes or a 4-wheeler. The Jeep Gladiator also offers class-leading 4×4 payload capacity of up to 1,725 pounds on the Sport S models.

In addition to the impressive space and capacity of the Gladiator’s cargo bed, it is also equipped with a variety of things in place to make taking on cargo even easier. For example, the entire Jeep Gladiator lineup comes with tie-down rings in each corner of the bed to help you secure your cargo in place. Loading or unloading at night? The standard integrated LED lights illuminate the contents of your bed in the dark. In addition to the Gladiator’s standard equipment, other features are optional or standard on higher trim levels. For example, Jeep’s Trail Rail system allows you to add cargo storage solutions, cargo bins, bed cross rails, and more. Meanwhile, a roll-up tonneau cover is optional to keep your cargo under wraps. Beginning at the Sport S trim, an otherwise available spray-in bedliner becomes standard to better protect the steel bed.

The Gladiator also provides impressive towing capacity with its powerful Pentastar V6 engine and available Max Tow Package. When the Gladiator Sport S is equipped with the Max Trailer Tow Package, the Gladiator can pull up to 7,700 pounds of cargo. The Gladiator is eligible for two towing packages. First is the Trailer Tow Package, which gives the Gladiator a Class IV hitch, Trailer Hitch-Zoom on the backup camera, a 240-amp alternator to provide additional power for your trailer’s electronics, and a heavy-duty engine cooler to keep the engine’s temperature in check even with a heavy load. Meanwhile, the Max Tow Package achieves the Gladiator’s maximum towing capacity of 7,700 pounds. Available for the Sport or Sport S trim levels, the Max Tow Package begins with all of the features included with the aforementioned Trailer Tow Package. Beyond these features, it adds knobby all-terrain tires for better grip on the road or trail surface. Additionally, Jeep’s Trac-Lok electronic locking rear differential is added to maximize power output with an additional load. The Max Tow Package also adds heavy-duty Dana 44 front and rear axles for added strength, a revised 4.10 axle ratio for enhanced off-the-line power, a daytime running light system, and black two-piece fender flares to cover the larger tires.
