Jeep and Electrify America are Powering the Great Outdoors!
Jeep has partnered with Electrify America to create the Jeep 4xe Charging Network by installing Jeep-branded electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at or near Jeep Badge of Honor off-road trailheads. The project will start with stations at three locations important to Jeep. The first charging stations will be at the Rubicon Trail in Pollock Pines, California, and Big Bear, California. Then, more stations will open up at so-called Badge of Honor trails, 56 trails scattered across the country that Jeep has highlighted as part of an app-based rewards program.

Electrify America was formed in 2016 and is based in Reston, Virginia. The company’s mission is to be the catalyst for promoting Zero-Emission Vehicle adoption by offering transformative, customer-centric infrastructure and energy management solutions. Electrify America is also committed to building education and awareness of zero-emission vehicles through brand-neutral outreach, discover-and-drive events, and other marketing approaches. Additionally, they are collaborating with vehicle manufacturers to create more opportunities to increase awareness of zero-emission vehicles.
What Level Charging Stations are at the Jeep 4xe Charging Network?
Jeep 4xe Charging Stations will be directly connected to the power grid or use solar power to generate electricity. In addition, the Jeep 4xe Charging Network trailhead chargers will deliver Level 2 charging. With Level 2 charging, the 17-kilowatt-hour battery pack in the Jeep Wrangler 4xe, for example, can be fully recharged in about two hours, delivering up to 21 miles of electric range. Jeep’s goal is to allow EV drivers the freedom to get to where they want to go, whether traveling on the highway or off-road.

GO 4xe LIVE, this app that takes customers into the world of Jeep electrification. The app makes it easier to learn more about the benefits of traveling in a hybrid car. The app features a virtual simulator to learn more about the new Jeep plug-in hybrid models and a test to identify the customer’s driving style. Furthermore, it helps customers find their way through the two crucial aspects of electric mobility: range and charging time. GO 4xe LIVE is designed to provide an exhaustive overview of the world of electrification.
